In Tuesday's league outing, the Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC) basketball squad edged the host Clover Garden School Grizzlies (Burlington, NC), by a count of 54-52.
The Wolves (11-11) will now prepare for their outing against Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC). The Lions go into the 1A Central Tar Heel outing with a 17-9 record. In their last outing, Southern Wake Academy held off Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC), 62-50, in a league outing.
The Grizzlies now hold a 7-16 record. They play next when they travel to Triangle Math & Science for a 1A Central Tar Heel outing on Friday, February 16. Clover Garden School will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 65-26 league win over Ascend Leadership (Sanford, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 7-16.
