The Grundy Golden Wave routed the visiting Council Cobras basketball team by a final score of 71-35 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Golden Wave face the Hurley Rebels (Hurley, VA) in a Black Diamond game, on Thursday, February 15. Grundy will attempt to move on its 15-8 season record. The Rebels enter the game with a 7-17 record after their 64-42 league win over Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA).
With the defeat, Council moves to 1-15 on the year.
