The Cumberland Academy Knights (Tyler, TX) basketball knocked off the host Lindale Eagles (Lindale, TX), 74-65 in Tuesday's league test.
The Knights (6-21) will now prepare for their test against Van (Van, TX). The Vandals go into the non-league test with a 11-23 record. In their last test, Van went down by Brownsboro (Brownsboro, TX), 50-36, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 10-17 record. They play next when they travel to Brownsboro for a 4A Region II District 16 test on Thursday, February 15. Lindale will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 50-36 league win over Van (Van, TX). The Bears record now stands at 14-18.
