The Davenport Central Blue Devils basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Muscatine Muskies to 61 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Tuesday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Assumption for a Mississippi contest on Thursday, February 15. Davenport Central will meet a Knights team coming off a 53-39 league win over Central Clinton (DeWitt, IA). The Knights record now stands at 14-11.

The Muskies (6-16) will now prepare for their contest against Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA). The Spartans enter the Mississippi contest with a 17-5 record. In their last contest, Pleasant Valley ran past Clinton (Clinton, IA), 87-32, in a league contest.
