Kentucky High School Basketball - East Ridge can't hold off Shelby Valley

The Shelby Valley Wildcats basketball team scored 65 points and held the host East Ridge Warriors to 60 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pikeville for a District 59 contest on Monday, February 19. Shelby Valley will battle a Panthers team coming off a 77-39 league win over East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 18-4.
The Warriors (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Belfry (Belfry, KY). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 7-18 record. In their last contest, Belfry was nudged by Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY), 64-58, in a non-league contest.
