Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Fennimore Golden Eagles (Fennimore, WI), 73-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Mineral Point upgrades its record to 20-1 on the season. The Pointers travel to Riverdale (Muscoda, WI) to play the Chieftains in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities bout on Friday, February 16. The Chieftains go into the bout with a record of 10-12. Riverdale won 66-56 in their recent league bout against Boscobel (Boscobel, WI)

Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Iowa-Grant Panthers (Livingston, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities bout, on Friday, February 16. Fennimore will attempt to upgrade on its 3-19 season record.
