Illinois High School Basketball - Polo can't hold off Forreston

The Forreston Cardinals basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Polo Marcos to 55 in the Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 11-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ashton-Franklin Center for a Northwest Upstate Illini - South contest on Friday, February 16. Forreston will battle a Raiders team coming off a 60-33 league loss to Fulton (Fulton, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 5-24.

The Marcos (14-13) will now prepare for their contest against Amboy (Amboy, IL). The Clippers enter the contest with a 4-24 record. In their last contest, Amboy was nudged by Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL), 61-49, in a league contest.
