The Junction City Bluejays (Junction City, KS) basketball knocked off the visiting Hayden Wildcats (Topeka, KS), 73-58 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bluejays (16-2) will now prepare for their test against Emporia (Emporia, KS). The Spartans go into the Centennial test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Emporia went down by Manhattan (Manhattan, KS), 47-36, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they host Topeka for a Centennial test on Friday, February 16. Hayden will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 61-48 non-league loss to Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 5-13.
