North Carolina High School Basketball - Panther Creek trounces Holly Springs

The Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC), 76-47 in Tuesday's league test.

The Catamounts (18-5) will now prepare for their test against Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Mustangs go into the 4A Southeast Wake test with a 11-12 record. In their last test, Middle Creek was trounced by Green Level (Cary, NC), 51-37, in a league test.

The Golden Hawks now own a 16-7 record. They play next when they host Apex for a 4A Southeast Wake test on Friday, February 16. Holly Springs will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 72-54 league loss to Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-18.
