Howell Vikings (St. Charles, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Howell Central Spartans (St. Charles, MO), 73-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Howell upgrades its record to 21-4 on the season. The Vikings host Troy-Buchanan (Troy, MO) to clash with the Trojans in a Gateway - South bout on Friday, February 16. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Troy-Buchanan won 67-59 in their recent league bout against Fort Zumwalt West (O'Fallon, MO)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Liberty Eagles (Lake St. Louis, MO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 14. Howell Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 15-3 record after their 54-36 league loss to Fort Zumwalt South (St. Peters, MO).
