The Wauzeka-Steuben Hornets basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting La Farge Wildcats to 54 in the Hornets league victory on Tuesday.

The Hornets now sport a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weston for a Ridge & Valley contest on Friday, February 16. Wauzeka-Steuben will battle a Silver Eagles team coming off a 56-38 league loss to North Crawford (Soldiers Grove, WI). The Silver Eagles record now stands at 6-14.

The Wildcats (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against De Soto (De Soto, WI). The Pirates come into the Ridge & Valley contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, De Soto edged Seneca (Seneca, WI), 66-63, in a league contest.
