The Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, KS) basketball crushed the host Lansing Lions (Lansing, KS), 90-39 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Thunderbirds (14-3) will now prepare for their test against Turner (Kansas City, KS). The Golden Bears go into the non-league test with a 1-13 record. In their last test, Turner was trounced by Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS), 63-35, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Leavenworth for a non-league test on Friday, February 16. Lansing will encounter a PIONEERS squad coming off a 66-46 league loss to Seaman (Topeka, KS). The PIONEERS record now stands at 1-13.
