In Tuesday's league outing, the Marian Catholic Spartans (Chicago Heights, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL), by a margin of 63-43.

The Spartans (20-9) will now prepare for their match against De La Salle (Chicago, IL). The Meteors enter the non-league match with a 19-11 record. In their last match, De La Salle overcame St. Rita (Chicago, IL), 73-29, in a league match.

With the defeat, Nazareth Academy moves to 8-19 on the year. The Roadrunners travel to Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Thursday, February 15. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 20-7.
