The Marquette Crusaders (Ottawa, IL) basketball knocked off the host Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL), 61-50 in Tuesday's league test.
The Crusaders (21-7) will now prepare for their test against Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL). The Fightin' Irish go into the non-league test with a 18-8 record. In their last test, Bishop McNamara notched a victory over Dwight (Dwight, IL), 55-31, in a non-league test.
The Fighting Irish now own a 21-9 record. They play next when they host Serena for a non-league test on Friday, February 16. Seneca will encounter a Huskers squad coming off a 62-47 league win over Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL). The Huskers record now stands at 28-2.
