The Marshall Cardinals basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting Waterloo Pirates to 63 in the Cardinals league victory on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belleville for a Capitol - South contest on Friday, February 16. Marshall will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 72-70 league win over New Glarus (New Glarus, WI). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-11.

The Pirates (6-17) will now prepare for their contest against Wisconsin Heights (Mazomanie, WI). The Vanguards come into the Capitol - South contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, Wisconsin Heights was defeated by Cambridge (Cambridge, WI), 64-43, in a league contest.
