The Monona Grove Silver Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Oregon Panthers to 54 in the Silver Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Silver Eagles now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beaver Dam for a Badger - Large contest on Friday, February 16. Monona Grove will meet a Golden Beavers team coming off a 67-55 league win over DeForest (DeForest, WI). The Golden Beavers record now stands at 16-6.
The Panthers (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against DeForest (DeForest, WI). The Norskies enter the non-league contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, DeForest was defeated by Beaver Dam (Beaver Dam, WI), 67-55, in a league contest.
