North Carolina High School Basketball - Mountain Island Charter overwhelmed by Pine Lake Prep

The Mountain Island Charter Raptor basketball team (Mt. Holly, NC), was overwhelmed 69-31 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC)

The Pride now possess a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Community School of Davidson for a 1A/2A Catawba Shores battle on Friday, February 16. Pine Lake Prep will confront a Spartans team coming off a 82-48 league win over Langtree Charter (Mooresville, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 13-9.

The Raptor (10-11) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC). The Eagles come into the 1A/2A Catawba Shores battle with a 17-8 record. In their last battle, Lincoln Charter trounced Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC), 56-55, in a league battle.
