Wasatch Wasps (Heber City, UT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Salem Hills Skyhawks (Salem, UT), 70-66 in a league bout.

With the win, Wasatch upgrades its record to 10-12 on the season. The Wasps travel to Maple Mountain (Spanish Fork, UT) to play the Golden Eagles in a 5A Region 7 bout on Friday, February 16. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-13. Maple Mountain lost 90-82 in their recent league bout against Springville (Springville, UT)

Next up, the Skyhawks play the Springville Red Devils (Springville, UT) in a 5A Region 7 bout, on Friday, February 16. Salem Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 14-8 record after their 90-82 league win over Maple Mountain (Spanish Fork, UT).
