Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC) and the host Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA), saw Archbishop Carroll's basketball squad hold off Paul VI by a tally of 48-45.

With the victory, Archbishop Carroll improves its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA) to play the Cardinals in a Washington Catholic challenge on Thursday, February 15. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 19-8. Bishop Ireton won 64-58 in their recent league challenge against Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD)

Next up, the Panthers play the St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA challenge, on Friday, February 16. Paul VI will attempt to improve on its 15-12 season record. The Cadets come into the challenge with a 19-5 record after their 59-34 league win over Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA).
