Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Elliott County Lions (Sandy Hook, KY), 52-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bath County upgrades its record to 16-9 on the season. The Wildcats travel to West Carter (Olive Hill, KY) to clash with the Comets in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 5-21. West Carter won 44-41 in their recent non-league bout against Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Martin County Cardinals (Inez, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Elliott County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record.
