Kentucky High School Basketball - Morgan County knocked off by Boyd County

The Boyd County Lions basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Morgan County Cougars to 43 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 20-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Russell for a non-league contest on Monday, February 19. Boyd County will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 52-48 non-league win over Portsmouth (Portsmouth, OH). The Red Devils record now stands at 22-6.
The Cougars (9-14) will now prepare for their contest against Paintsville (Paintsville, KY). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 13-11 record. In their last contest, Paintsville was defeated by Raceland (Raceland, KY), 74-70, in a non-league contest.
