Menomonee Falls Phoenix (Menomonee Falls, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Brookfield Central Lancers (Brookfield, WI), 61-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Menomonee Falls upgrades its record to 14-8 on the season. The Phoenix travel to Hamilton (Sussex, WI) to clash with the Chargers in a Greater Metro bout on Friday, February 16. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 9-13. Hamilton lost 62-52 in their recent league bout against Germantown (Germantown, WI)

Next up, the Lancers clash with the Wauwatosa West Trojans (Wauwatosa, WI) in a Greater Metro bout, on Friday, February 16. Brookfield Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-20 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 11-12 record after their 63-55 league win over Divine Savior Holy Angels (Milwaukee, WI).
