The Clay Center Tigers basketball team scored 37 points and held the host Wamego Red Raiders to 27 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Abilene for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Clay Center will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 53-27 non-league loss to Hays (Hays, KS). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-18.
The Red Raiders (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Concordia (Concordia, KS). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Concordia ran past Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, KS), 52-34, in a non-league contest.
