The Spring Valley Cardinals basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Cumberland Beavers to 42 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 6-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elmwood/Plum City for a Dunn-St. Croix contest on Thursday, February 15. Spring Valley will battle a Wolves team coming off a 77-43 non-league loss to Blair-Taylor (Blair, WI). The Wolves record now stands at 0-20.

The Beavers (0-24) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern (Maple, WI). The Tigers come into the Heart O'North contest with a 12-11 record. In their last contest, Northwestern was routed by Superior (Superior, WI), 49-44, in a non-league contest.
