Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) and the host East Wake Warriors (Wendell, NC), saw South Johnston's basketball squad overcome East Wake by a tally of 42-22.

With the victory, South Johnston improves its record to 11-11 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to West Johnston (Benson, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a 3A Quad County challenge on Friday, February 16. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 8-13. West Johnston lost 62-37 in their recent league challenge against Hunt (Wilson, NC)

Next up, the Warriors confront the Smithfield-Selma Spartans (Smithfield, NC) in a 3A Quad County challenge, on Friday, February 16. East Wake will attempt to improve on its 3-18 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 0-21 record after their 40-23 league loss to C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC).
