North Carolina High School Basketball - McDowell crushes Erwin

February 13, 2024: Marion, NC 28752

McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Erwin Warriors (Asheville, NC), 58-31 in a league bout.

With the win, McDowell upgrades its record to 20-3 on the season. The Titans travel to A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC) to clash with the Rockets in a 3A/4A Mountain bout on Thursday, February 15. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 20-1. A.C. Reynolds won 71-25 in their recent league bout against T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC) in a 3A/4A Mountain bout, on Thursday, February 15. Erwin will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record. The Black Hawks go into the bout with a 13-7 record after their 48-41 league loss to Asheville (Asheville, NC).
