Kansas High School Basketball - Rawlins County overwhelms Golden Plains

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Rawlins County Buffaloes (Atwood, KS) and the host Golden Plains Bulldogs (Rexford, KS), saw Rawlins County's basketball squad wallop Golden Plains by a count of 56-21.

With the victory, Rawlins County upgrades its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Dighton (Dighton, KS) to play the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 7-12. Dighton won 61-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Wheatland-Grinnell (Grainfield, KS)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Northern Valley Huskies (Almena, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 16. Golden Plains will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 61-37 non-league loss to Decatur Community (Oberlin, KS).
