The Gray Stone Day Knights basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls to 28 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Pleasant for a non-league contest on Monday, February 19. Gray Stone Day will meet a Tigers team coming off a 68-29 league loss to Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 10-13.
The Rowdy Rebel Bulls (1-19) will now prepare for their contest against North Stanly (New London, NC). The Comets enter the 1A/2A Yadkin Valley contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, North Stanly was defeated by Albemarle (Albemarle, NC), 78-42, in a league contest.
