Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Harlan Green Dragons (Harlan, KY), 83-59 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Johnson Central upgrades its record to 22-2 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles host Rowan County (Morehead, KY) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 17. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 14-11. Rowan County won 48-44 in their recent non-league bout against East Carter (Grayson, KY)

Next up, the Green Dragons play the Pineville Mountain Lions (Pineville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 15. Harlan will attempt to upgrade on its 14-12 season record. The Mountain Lions come into the bout with a 19-4 record after their 62-59 non-league win over South Laurel (London, KY).
