Michigan High School Basketball - Laker crushes Vassar

February 13, 2024: Pigeon, MI 48755

Laker Lakers (Pigeon, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI), 45-20 in a league bout.

With the win, Laker upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Lakers host Cass City (Cass City, MI) to play the Red Hawks in a Greater Thumb - West bout on Thursday, February 15. The Red Hawks go into the bout with a record of 10-8. Cass City won 38-31 in their recent league bout against Reese (Reese, MI)

Next up, the Vulcans play the Mayville Wildcats (Mayville, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Vassar will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 41-18 league loss to North Huron (Kinde, MI).
