North Carolina High School Basketball - Lee County tipped by Scotland

February 13, 2024: Laurinburg, NC 28352

The Scotland Fighting Scots basketball team scored 2 points and held the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets to 1 in the Fighting Scots league triumph on Tuesday.

The Fighting Scots now sport a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richmond for a 3A/4A Sandhills contest on Friday, February 16. Scotland will meet a Raiders team coming off a 60-30 league win over Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 19-4.

The Yellow Jackets (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Cavaliers enter the 3A/4A Sandhills contest with a 2-18 record. In their last contest, Southern Lee was nudged by Union Pines (Cameron, NC), 82-16, in a league contest.
