Redington Huskies (Wasilla, AK) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lumen Christi Archangels (Anchorage, AK), 37-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Redington upgrades its record to 2-12 on the campaign. The Huskies host Houston (Big Lake, AK) to play the Hawks in a 3A Eastern bout on Friday, February 16. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 3-10. Houston lost 57-30 in their recent league bout against Sitka (Sitka, AK)

Next up, the Archangels play the Nanwalek (Nanwalek, AK) in a 1A Peninsula bout, on Thursday, February 15. Lumen Christi will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record.
