Maryland High School Basketball - Poolesville nudges Magruder

Poolesville Falcons (Poolesville, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Magruder Colonels (Rockville, MD), 37-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Poolesville upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Falcons host Rockville (Rockville, MD) to clash with the Rams in a Montgomery County - 3A/2A bout on Friday, February 16. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Rockville won 57-39 in their recent non-league bout against Northwood (Silver Spring, MD)

Next up, the Colonels clash with the Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) in a Montgomery County - 3A/2A bout, on Friday, February 16. Magruder will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 17-1 record after their 67-42 league win over Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD).
