The McNary Celtics basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Sprague Olympians to 48 in the Celtics league triumph on Tuesday.
The Celtics now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Salem for a 6A Central Valley contest on Friday, February 16. McNary will battle a Vikings team coming off a 61-18 league loss to West Salem (Salem, OR). The Vikings record now stands at 4-19.
The Olympians (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against South Salem (Salem, OR). The Saxons enter the 6A Central Valley contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, South Salem was defeated by West Salem (Salem, OR), 60-50, in a league contest.
