The Nemaha Central Thunder basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Royal Valley Panthers to 22 in the Thunder non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Thunder now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jefferson West for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Nemaha Central will battle a Tigers team coming off a 43-41 non-league loss to Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 7-11.
The Panthers (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS). The Red Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Hiawatha triumphed over Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS), 41-31, in a non-league contest.
