With the victory, Wausau East upgrades its record to 8-16 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to Merrill (Merrill, WI) to play the Bluejays in a Wisconsin Valley challenge on Friday, February 16. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a record of 13-12. Merrill lost 51-45 in their recent league challenge against D.C. Everest (Schofield, WI)

Next up, the Fighting Cardinals play the Edgar Wildcats (Edgar, WI) in a Marawood - South challenge, on Thursday, February 15. Newman will attempt to upgrade on its 7-16 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 10-12 record after their 51-34 non-league loss to Loyal (Loyal, WI).
