Michigan High School Basketball - Tawas Area can't hold off Oscoda

The Oscoda Owls basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Tawas Area Braves to 50 in the Owls non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Owls now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rogers City for a North Star contest on Thursday, February 15. Oscoda will battle a Hurons team coming off a 48-19 league loss to Mio-Au Sable (Mio, MI). The Hurons record now stands at 10-6.
The Braves (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Calvary Baptist Academy (Midland, MI). The Kings enter the non-league contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Calvary Baptist Academy nudged Farwell (Farwell, MI), 38-16, in a non-league contest.
