Parkway Panthers (Rockford, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Spencerville Bearcats (Spencerville, OH), 36-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Parkway upgrades its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host St. Henry (St. Henry, OH) to play the Redskins in a Midwest bout on Thursday, February 15. The Redskins come into the bout with a record of 16-5. St. Henry won 43-32 in their recent non-league bout against Anna (Anna, OH)

Next up, the Bearcats play the Ada Bulldogs (Ada, OH) in a Northwest bout, on Thursday, February 15. Spencerville will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 9-12 record after their 48-25 league loss to Leipsic (Leipsic, OH).
