Sabetha Bluejays (Sabetha, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Perry-Lecompton Kaws (Perry, KS), 39-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sabetha upgrades its record to 4-14 on the season. The Bluejays host Holton (Holton, KS) to clash with the Wildcats in a Big Seven bout on Friday, February 16. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Holton lost 47-45 in their recent non-league bout against Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] (Wathena, KS)

Next up, the Kaws clash with the Hiawatha Red Hawks (Hiawatha, KS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 15. Perry-Lecompton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Red Hawks go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 43-41 non-league win over Jefferson West (Meriden, KS).
