Wootton Patriots (Rockville, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD), 41-28 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wootton upgrades its record to 9-10 on the season. The Patriots host Blake (Silver Spring, MD) to play the Bengals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Bengals go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Blake won 46-30 in their recent non-league bout against Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD)
Next up, the Vikings play the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons (Bethesda, MD) in a Freelance bout, on Friday, February 16. Whitman will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Barons go into the bout with a 19-2 record after their 56-41 league win over Churchill (Potomac, MD).
