Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM), 69-10 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Volcano Vista upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Hawks host Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 21. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 18-2. Rio Rancho won 61-9 in their recent non-league bout against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM)

Next up, the Cougars play the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Cibola will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 17-2 record after their 57-19 non-league win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
