James Kenan Tigers (Warsaw, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC), 30-10 in a non-league bout.

With the win, James Kenan upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Wallace-Rose Hill lost 16-8 in their recent league bout against East Duplin (Beulaville, NC)

Next up, the Stallions play the East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Southwest Onslow will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 16-8 league win over Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC).
