St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Statesville Greyhounds (Statesville, NC), 40-7 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St. Stephens upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Indians host Foard (Newton, NC) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 10-7. Foard won 27-22 in their recent non-league bout against Hickory (Hickory, NC)

Next up, the Greyhounds play the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Statesville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Red Tornadoes come into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 27-22 non-league loss to Foard (Newton, NC).
