In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Carthage Bulldogs soccer squad scored a close 6-1 win over the Center Roughriders.
The Bulldogs (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Sabine (Gladewater, TX). The Cardinals go into the 4A Region 2 District 15 battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Sabine was overwhelmed by Spring Hill (Longview, TX), 5-0, in a league battle.
The Roughriders (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Tatum (Tatum, TX). The Eagles go into the 4A Region 2 District 15 battle with a 3-11 record. In their last battle, Tatum was overwhelmed by Kilgore (Kilgore, TX), 10-0, in a league battle.
