Coming up next, the Mustangs meet the Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 9 test, on Tuesday, February 20. Creekview will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Rangers come into the test with a 12-3 record after their 7-1 league win over Turner (Carrollton, TX).

With the loss, Newman Smith drops to 2-11 on the season. The Trojans host Wakeland (Frisco, TX) to meet the Wolverines in a 5A Region 2 District 9 test on Friday, February 23. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 13-0.
