North Carolina High School Basketball - Hibriten overwhelmed by Alexander Central

The Alexander Central Cougars basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Hibriten Panthers to 29 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Freedom for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Alexander Central will battle a Patriots team coming off a 53-49 non-league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 16-2.
The Panthers (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, South Caldwell triumphed over Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC), 57-43, in a league contest.
