Williams Bulldogs (Burlington, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC), 48-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Williams upgrades its record to 8-12 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Person (Roxboro, NC) to play the Rockets in a bout on Friday, February 16. The Rockets come into the bout with a record of 17-4. Person lost 45-42 in their recent non-league bout against Western Alamance (Elon, NC)
