The East Burke Cavaliers basketball team (Connelly Springs, NC), was nudged 39-37 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC)
The Rebels now possess a 2-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincolnton for a non-league battle on Friday, February 16. West Lincoln will confront a Wolves team coming off a 57-47 league loss to Maiden (Maiden, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 7-8.
The Cavaliers (6-14) will now prepare for their battle against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 13-3 record.
