The Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) basketball crushed the host West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), 80-42 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Scorpions (19-1) will now prepare for their test against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Eldorado was trounced by Sandia (Albuquerque, NM), 73-64, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Piedra Vista for a non-league test on Friday, February 16. West Mesa will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 67-44 non-league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 5-9.
