Zanesville Blue Devils (Zanesville, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Licking Valley Panthers (Newark, OH), 46-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Zanesville upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Blue Devils host Granville (Granville, OH) to play the Blue Aces in a bout on Friday, February 16. The Blue Aces go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Granville lost 55-41 in their recent non-league bout against Licking Valley (Newark, OH)

Next up, the Panthers play the Centerburg Trojans (Centerburg, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Licking Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 17-1 season record.
